This map uses the same scale as the Taffyville city map, with the distance between gridlines being 1/2 mile. It extends directly north from the city map, covering the northern part of Taffyville and northern Taffy County, as well as southeastern Claw County and much of Queuedechat County (pronounced KEDD-uh-shaw). Queuedechat comes from the French phrase "queue de chat" meaning "cat's tail."
